Auranites (new species)

I was told to post more information on the Auranites so… HERE IT IS:

Name: Auranites

Genders: 2 (male and female)

Age: They can live to be 200 though most die before that because of all the hunters who try and kill them.

Apperance: Humanoid. They have colored gems on their forehead, chest (over the heart), and on the back of both hands. Color of the gems vary on the individual.

Any alternate forms: When collecting cosmic energy or when realsing it to make force fields their gems begin to glow.

Biological differences: The fore mentioned gems. They are a part of the body and those can be grown and heal if ever damaged.

History of Species: It has long been rumored that the Auranites came from a astriod that hit this world. Though that is only a rumor. The Auranites have been on this world since anyone can remember. And as far back as anyone can remember they have been hunted. Humans were afraid that the Auranites would one day rule over them so they gave money too whoever can kill them. This always kept the Auranite population in check. Most Auranites avoid humans and some of them even hate them.

Powers: Their gems allow them to collect cosmic energy through a special meditation and use that stored energy to create force fields.

Strengths: (maximum three)

Weaknesses: Their gems are their source of power. If they get scratched or damaged they are drastically weakened. If a gem is somehow completely removed, the Auranite will die and turn to stone.

Drawbacks: The most major drawback is that there will be hunters coming to kill you. You’ve been warned.

I like it, but one question... Say theykeep absorbing power from the heavens, how much more powerful will they get, you have to make them bearable, they can't be all powerful (no matter how much you want them to) XD

There is a limit to how much energy can be stored. Once you hit the maximum limit you can't absorb anymore (until you use some). Think of the gems as a battery. You can recharge a battery but their comes a limit where you can't charge the battery anymore.
